Close fit (tight) Fitted, semi fitted, loose fit, very loose fit...these are terms you'll hear very often in fashion industry.
Each term indicates a general amount of wearing ease and design ease that is built into the pattern. Ease is the amount of "space" in a garment beyond the body measurements; the specific amount of ease will vary from style to style. |

Close Fitting (tight):
(painted) Follows the shape of your fiqure.

Fitted:
Closely follows the shape of your fiqure. |
|
Semi-Fitted:
Shows the shape of your figure, but does not hug it. |

Traditional Fit (Loose Fitting):
(straight) Skims the body without any shaping. |
|
Very Loose Fitting:
(oversize) This silhouette is roomy and comfortable. It will not show the body shape. |
